Why does all these games, that we're so excitede to game get cancelled or the developing stops?

I have been a huge fan of NLVR but there is nothing new and it seems like it's not coming out. If the people who works so hard to get everything programmed and released are independent then they can make it as a download. Simply make a webshop where we pay for the download fx paypal, but please don't let us wait we have been waiting for ages and it looks like there's no hope for the future with these sims. I'm so confused

But what about Ride Simulator is the project cancelled. I cannot undersandt how you can promise something, and tell people i will be out soon and it's like 4 years ago now...
